Apple is going to keep on rocking out.
Jobs prob had the next 10 new products already on the white board.
I know that many people think AAPL without Steve Jobs will fail. I agree in that he was a brilliant man and I certainly expect it to be a down day tomorrow for AAPL, but I believe in the company overall and that it will rebound from this. If I am wrong, and Steve Jobs was the only innovator, then I would expect innovative products to be coming out for the next couple of years then start to taper off.
Steve Jobs was a visionary, not only in product development, but in the user experience. The concept of the Apple Stores where not only could you view and purchase his products, but if you had a problem, could take it to the Genius Bar and get it
resolved for free (usually).
Poeple like this don’t come along very often, and they are true national treasures.
I suspect Apple will take a knee jerk hit tomorrow, but his passing, as unfortuneate as it was, wasn’t unexpected, and as the market realizes this, the stock will quickly recover.
My condolences to his family and friends.
An amazing visionary has passed. Apple has done its best to diffuse this ultimate events effect on the company. I agree there will be some reaction but I see no overall change in sales and company direction for at least one year. Go apple
Steve Jobs was brilliant! I am sad his journey has ended as a result of cancer. We need a cure soon. What’s taking sooooo God Damn long. Apple will continue to make great products for some time. The company has a huge following and continues to expand market share. However, as competition increases and the economy continues it’s downward spiral, I see the profit margin of Apple decreasing. In the short term I see the stock heading south in a knee jerk reaction on the news. It will recover but it could take some time. All I can say is that Apple makes great products. I own a MAC, 2 MAC Books, and 3 I Phones. Go APPLE and Rest in Peace Steve Jobs.
